Dr Angus Moxon is an Orthopaedic Surgeon with a special interest in lower limb conditions, particularly those of the knee, foot and ankle. Highlighting his expertise in this area, Dr Moxon is one of a select few surgeons in Queensland regularly performing minimally invasive foot surgery; an approach designed to minimize recovery time and the risk of infection.
Committed to excellence in his field, Dr Moxon honed his skills in lower limb surgery through spending time with respected knee, foot and ankle specialists in Australia and overseas. Dr Moxon's previous experience as a Physiotherapist provides him with unique insight into the effects of musculoskeletal conditions on patient mobility and daily functioning and allows him to provide superior guidance regarding patient rehabilitation following surgery. With a strong belief in patient-focused care, he strives to minimise patient recovery time and maximise patient independence.
Dr Moxon is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons and a member of the Australian Orthopaedic Association and Australian Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society. He is also a member of the GRECMIP; an international group for research and study into minimally invasive surgery of the foot, after completing their advanced training course in Madrid.
When not at work, Angus is a dedicated family man, prioritising quality time with his wife and three children. He also enjoys basketball and golf, and is an avid rugby union supporter.
